cookies

I didn't make cutout cookies for Christmas, so I decided to make a few cutouts the other day while Jeff was away at a wrestling tournament. I wanted to try to decorate with royal icing, which I've never done before, and it wasn't perfect, but they taste good, so that's all that matters, right?! I'd like to practice a few more times with the icing, because I'd like to make onesie cookies for my friend Jordan's baby shower in a few months. I'll be sure to share those, if I end up making them.
I only made stars and mittens, thinking that the stars could be for New Years, and the mittens, well, you got it- winter! (it hasn't felt much like winter around here since I've been back, and I'm fine with that!)
