Happy New Year, friends!
I hope 2016 has been good to you thus far.
We had a wonderful Christmas break, and I was not ready to return to school!
As you can see, blogging has been a bit of an afterthought lately. Here's an example of why:
Tuesday, January 5, 2016
4:45 am- Alarm Goes off
5:00 am- Begin workout
5:35 am - 7:00 am- Shower, get ready, get the girls up, dressed, fed, etc
7:00 am- Leave the house to drop the girls off.
7:35 am- Arrive at school. (Teach body systems in health all day)
3:10 pm- Leave school, stop at the post office.
3:25 pm- Pick the girls up from school.
3:45 pm- Arrive home, unpack lunch pails, wash containers, prep dinner
4:15 pm- Eat dinner, (I was pretty sure I was starving, so I needed to eat dinner right then and there!) while still cooking dinner.
4:20 pm- Kristi arrives so I can leave to go back to school to work a basketball game.
4:35 pm- Leave for the game, and work the game.
7:45 pm- Arrive home.
8:00 pm- Start baking cookies (I have a huge order to complete!) And clean up the kitchen- the worst part of being a cookie baker! Organize lunches for the next day while the last batch of cookies are in the oven.
10:00 pm- set the alarm for 4:45 to get a workout in before Jeff leaves for morning wrestling practice.
10:01 pm- I'm pretty sure I was asleep! ;)
Really though, this has been our life! I probably could have done some blogging over break, but I didn't want to. I wanted to hang with the girls, which is way more fun! The last thing I want to do when I am done "working" for the night is to hop on the computer. I know I should, because I'm missing documenting fun stuff- like how great our Christmas was, but I'll slowly catch up!
I love our crazy, busy, sometimes a tad bit messy life. I couldn't function without Jeff's help or Kristi's help. They are always doing something to pitch in!
So, once this cookie order is complete, I am hoping to slow down a bit with the cookies until after wrestling season. Starting your part-time job at 8pm or later each day isn't always fun, but the end result is, and that's what important.
Keep checking back, I won't abandon this little page forever, just until I can keep my head above water!
