Halloween (kind of!)

Last weekend I decided to put the girls in their costumes and head to Jake & Katie's so Claire could "trick or treat".  I knew she wouldn't be going on her birthday, so I wanted to let her dress up and go say hi to some friends.  As you know, I keep things pretty simple, so Claire was a farmer and Anna was a pea.  It was easy and cute, especially since someone gave me the pea costume for Anna!  (I love hand-me-downs!) Kristi also helped Claire carve a pumpkin.  She DID NOT want to stick her hand in it and pull out the "guts" she said "yuck" over and over!  It was kind of funny.  She did tell Kristi what shapes  she wanted for the eyes and the nose of the pumpkin, so that was good practice for her!
