Claire

We had a fun evening celebrating Claire turning 2!
She said she wanted pizza for dinner! (yes!!!)  I was actually kind of glad about this, mostly because I knew flying back early that morning, and just having so little time to be organized meant an easy dinner anyway, so it was perfect!  She also wanted an Elmo cake.  This turned out to be super easy too, as Kristi's friend makes the best cakes, so she whipped up an adorable Elmo cake for Claire.
Of course, the little lady was spoiled like crazy and received so many wonderful gifts.  She was a very good girl and said thank you for each of them.  Of course, she wanted to open each one and play with it or use it right then and there, but we kept the process going!

Maybe one year she'll get to go trick or treating for her birthday?  Perhaps when she actually realizes what Halloween is?!

 Kristi made Claire a "pin the nose on Elmo" game.  It was a big hit at day care for her class "party"
