Today I am thankful for my students. Some days I get so annoyed by my job. I mean, the kids make me want to go crazy, but then I remember they are 13ish years old, and I'm sure I was the same way. I like most of them, I really do. I feel bad for so many of them, especially those who are probably not looking forward to the break, or don't have very much to be thankful for. But, I'm thankful for them because they keep me on my toes, they make me laugh....every single day, and I love watching them grow and change. I mean, let's face it...being a teacher wouldn't be possible without them, so I might as well like them! :)
On a smaller scale, I am thankful for the beautiful warm sunny day we had today, and that I was able to take my afternoon PE classes outside.
Oh, and by the way, tomorrow is the last day of school for the week!!
