I am thankful today for my mother's patience. I can only hope I am half as patient as she is when I have kids. She spent the day preparing a thanksgiving meal for us, since Jeff and I will not be able to be with family for Thanksgiving. It was delicious. (She'll make dinner again for the family on Thursday in NY) She also sat with me as I went through practically every item of clothing I own, and encouraged me to get rid of the items that I haven't worn in years, or that have gone way out of style. She is the best, and I am so thankful for my wonderful, kind, patient mother.
I am also thankful for my faith. I'm not sure I could get through a day without all the praying I do. I am a worrier by nature, and I continue to pray ALL THE TIME to help me stop all that silly worrying, so I could only imagine my life without my faith, prayer or all the other people I have praying for me. God is pretty darn good to me, and for that I am so thankful.
It was a great weekend- I love weekends like this!
I should post pictures from Drew's game soon, I have to get Uncle Andrew to email some to me, since I left my camera in the car.
