Happy Birthday Claire!

Four!  Four years old.  I can hardly believe it.  It's crazy that Claire is four, but it's also awesome.  She is so sweet, and silly, she makes every day brighter.  She had a really great birthday, which makes me happy.  And she also said "thank you" to me about 25 times throughout the day for the things she got to do and for her present.  That always makes a mom feel good!

 The girls got to go horseback riding for Claire's birthday.  They both absolutely loved it!  They didn't want to get off the horse when the ride ended!  It was a beautiful day, and the scenery was unreal as the horses walked near the creek.

 We decided to open presents before we ate dinner and did a little trick or treating.  Claire is very blessed and got many nice gifts from lots of people.  Jeff and I got her the American Girl Doll she had been "eying" for quite sometime and she was thrilled!

 Then the girls did a quick change to be come Elsa and Anna from Frozen Fever. (That's a 6 minute short film that celebrates Anna's birthday- it's very cute.)  We went to Jake and Katie's house for our first stop and then went to a few of their neighbor's houses.  After going to about 3 houses, the girls were more interested in passing out candy than getting candy, which was fine with me!  We stayed at Jake and Katie's for a bit, then went home for cake and ice cream.

 Claire wanted an Elsa cake, and this was about the best I could do!  It didn't exactly turn out how I hoped, but she loved it, so that's really what matters!  We did lots of singing and dancing, and all the activity for the day didn't improve the odds of them not waking up super early because of day-light savings time.  Ugh!  It was an EARLY morning!

Happy Birthday, Claire!  Thank you for bringing so much joy to so many and for being a great big sister and a sweetheart to everyone you meet.  We love you!
