February so far...

Hi there!  I have no excuses for you...I've been lazy.  Ok, maybe not lazy, I've been quite busy, but I just haven't made updating a priority.  We've been great.  I've kind of got a case of the winter blues to be honest with you.  I'm quite sick of snow, cold and winter in general.  I don't even mind if we skip spring and head right to summer!  We got slammed with lots of snow, like for real this time.  About 20 inches here at our house.  So, as you can imagine, we haven't had school.  We'd had lots of snow days this year, which I really don't mind, because I love being home with the girls!  I just hope they don't take Spring Break away from us, because I'm really looking forward to going to Florida!
Wrestling season is coming to an end, which is nice, because that means Jeff will be around a lot more. Jeff was actually supposed to have the Regional tournament this weekend, but it was pushed back because of the snow, so we were able to head out to dinner, which was really nice.  (Thank you, Kristi for staying with the girls!)  Of course, it just happened to be Valentine's Day, so the few places we really wanted to go were all booked up.  We ended up hitting up Village Square in Old Town, which ended up being perfect.  I was a little disappointed in my meal, but the fried green tomatoes we had as an appetizer were so amazing!  Plus, to sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine and not have to get up during my dinner to do something kid related was really nice!
I don't have many updates.  I was having a few days of feeling sorry for myself the past few weeks.  You know, one of those things that no matter what you do you just feel like you're not getting any satisfaction, or results from your work.  It was just one of those weeks.  Not sure why, but those are the times I need to find peace and comfort from all the wonderful blessings in my life and not all the things that cause me stress.  Overall, we're all good, and life is good, so I'm just going to keep on doing my thing, and I will try to smile while doing it!
These little people and their similar facial expressions make me happy!
