this weird thing...

Sometimes this weird things happens.  At the end of some school days, I have plans to run with a friend.  And let's be real here...there are days I want to cancel SO BAD.  Like, I don't want to go at all. Today was one of those days, but really I had no good excuse to cancel.  It was the most beautiful day ever, and I had a pretty good day at school, so I knew I had to do it.  And as long as we're keepin' it real, I can tell you I'm always...ALWAYS glad that I go.  It's nice to talk and it's nice to be outside, and of course it's nice to exercise!  Here's the weird part: it seems like Claire can get super difficult on days that I run, and it doesn't seem to get me as worked up as if it were to happen on a day that I don't exercise.  One of my blogging buddies, and former PE teacher has said something similar for years.  She writes about how much more patient she is with her boys when she gets her run in.  (You're right, Katie!) :)  So today was one of those days where Claire had this momentary break down.  So silly...she didn't want to sit at her seat for dinner.  REALLY?!  Oh, to be two!  Anyway, I refused to get upset by it.  Maybe it was because of the exercise (maybe not) but I tell myself it has everything to do with it!

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Friday's?  Well, I do.  I can't wait until Friday after school.  Simply because I don't feel rushed.  I don't like feeling rushed, but I can't help but feel that way every week day.  Friday's allow me to make dinner, but not have to worry about packing lunches or packing things for the girls for school.  It's the best.  So, as you can tell, I'm super glad tomorrow is Friday!

I hope you've had a great week, and enjoy your weekend!

Ok, and here is Claire.  Could the child possibly sleep with anymore stuffed animals and dolls?!
Claire has been a lot more interested lately in playing with Anna.  I think she's ready for Anna to "start doing something!"
