I'll let you in on a little secret...

Ok, well, it's not really a secret, but maybe it's news to you.  We are in the process of selling our house. I really don't want to say, "we sold our house" because there is one more hoop to jump through before it all goes through.  The appraisal.  Please, please, please pray that the house appraises for the offer price.  We haven't been told yet when that will be, but I assume pretty soon.  We are set to close on May 6th!  Yikes!  That's less than one month away!  (and it's right after Apple Blossom Weekend!)  Don't know if that makes me happy to have the extra day, since we're off from school or sad because I love Apple Blossom?!
No, we have not found a place to live.  Yes, we have a place to stay, because I highly doubt we'll find "the house" and close on it in less than a month.  It's going to all be a bit busy, but it's all good...right?

And another little secret, it would be really nice...ok, it's totally necessary to be into a house by August 1st, because baby Holmes #2 will be joining us shortly after that!  We're quite excited to be due in early August with another little girl!  So yeah- this home buying/selling, being a mom, being pregnant, being a wife, being a friend, etc, is really sucking the life out of me some days!  Ha!  Not really sucking the life out of me, but some days I feel a bit overwhelmed, and I honestly feel great with the whole pregnancy thing, so I'm blaming it on all the other factors!

Anyway, that's it.  Big prayers for the Holmes, if you don't mind!

And I guess the real secret here is why I was such a blog slacker for a while!
