Debby...

Well...Tropical Storm Debby has really put a damper on our trip to Florida!  The weather has been SO YUCKY!  Like, to the point that we can't even go outside for a walk, or go swimming, or anything like that!  Not to mention, so many of the malls are outside, so we can't even do great shopping!  Geesh!  Oh well...I got some reading done, which is good, and I guess it was nice to do nothing...very weird, but nice.  We haven't seen the sun since we arrived, and it has rained, rained, rained!  It's been crazy windy too.

Claire did great on the way down.  She was so well behaved, and I can't even tell you how nice people were.  Perfect strangers were so helpful, and I appreciated it, because it's not always easy traveling with a little one.

The strangest thing happened on the way down...we were supposed to be sitting in row 14, but row 14 didn't exist!  It was very strange!  It went from 12 to 15 to 20 to 25.  Ummmm, ok! The flight attendant said she never even noticed that!  (ok?!?!)  It was awkward, but it all worked out, and we even had a seat between us and the other person in the row, so it was nice to have the extra space.

We fly back on Wednesday, and then Friday we're leaving for the Outer Banks.  I just hope the weather there is better than it has been here!
