Thanksgiving

We had a lovely Thanksgiving here in the Holmes house! My parents decided they would come down to celebrate with us. I was glad to have them here.
Of course Thanksgiving and the days following were filled with food, football, some shopping, and lots of laughs.
Claire got to meet her Grandpa D for the first time, we celebrated Mom's birthday on Friday, and I got all of my Christmas decorations up (with lots of help from Kristi and Mom!)
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, mostly because it means spending time with those you love. I also like that it allows people to reflect on how blessed they are. I am very blessed, and am so appreciative of all the things I have, especially my husband and our little lady.

Claire and I are off to Florida this weekend with Mom & Dad for a whole week! We'll certainly miss Jeff, but it will be nice to be in the warm sunshine!
