changes...

Lots of changes going on here in the Holmes' household....we're talking everything from moving some furniture around, hanging a few new things on the walls, to Kristi moving into her own place. Yes, you read that correctly! Kristi just moved into a super cute town house not too far from us. Mom came down this weekend to help out, and Jeff conveniently left for the weekend for the Oswego Wrestling Reunion. Perfect timing, right Jeff?! :) Anyway, Kristi is all moved in, and she spent her first night there last night. I'll have to get some pictures of her place (with her permission, of course) and show you how cute it is!

It was a HOT weekend, and we were sweating up a storm moving all sorts of stuff here, there and everywhere, but it was fun, and it was great to spend a weekend with my Mom. She'll actually be back in a few weeks, because us girls are making the drive down to Florida, so I can pick up my "new to me" car!

Not sure I ever told you, and pretty much everyone that reads my blog probably already knows this (like you, Mom, you obviously already know this!) my parents bought a place in Florida. Yippie! Anyway, they are going to keep my car down there, as an extra car for them, and then if they fly down, they'll only have to take a cab from the airport, then they've got a sweet Pontiac to cruise around in! So...since they're keeping my car in Florida, I was generously offered to buy a close family friend's vehicle. I'm getting a Rav4, and I'm super excited! So, anyway, we're driving down, and then we'll spend a few days down there before heading back. I love Florida, and I'm sure it will be a great time! (besides the whole driving there and back thing, but oh well!)

That's it for now- I need to get some pictures uploaded (too lazy for that right now) so you can see what's been going on around here. I'm so thankful it's summertime!
