Valentine.

Hi there. Happy Valentine's Day. I know, total Hallmark holiday, right? I kind of agree, but at the same time, it's a special day because today my Poppy would have been 88. He's the reason I'm Michele Valentine.
It was a good day. My students were well behaved, even my first period, and I have been dreading them big time lately, so I was glad they were good. Jeff came home from practice with roses for me. He's very sweet. We had a simple dinner tonight, because last night I made a better dinner. Jake came over, since his valentine (his finance Heather) is in Atlanta doing a clinical for her physical therapy degree, so Jake, Kristi, Jeff and I enjoyed a nice steak dinner, since it was pretty mild outside. Jeff did the grilling, and I think everything turned out great. Hope you had a day filled with love, with or without a valentine.

By the way, the state wrestling tournament is this upcoming weekend. I am excited to attend, because Millbrook should do well. The regional tournament was this past weekend, which I got to attend. Millbrook qualified five guys for states, which Jeff wasn't overly impressed with, (he thought there should have been more) but I think it's great!

And, lastly here are a few of the wedding cake cookies I made for practice for an order I have this spring for a bridal shower. I have gotten a few other cookie orders since the baby shower I made cookies for a few weeks ago.
