A New York State of Mind...

We traveled to New York for Christmas. Our first stop (well, we stopped a few times along the way, but I'm sure you know what I mean!) was Syracuse. The day we arrived was MJ's birthday! Jeff made his famous chicken riggies, and we spent the evening at Kim's house while lots of family and friends stopped by to say hello and meet little Miss Claire. She was very well behaved for the occasion! Christmas eve was very low key, and that was fine with me! We had lots of yummy finger foods instead of a big dinner, and everything was great. We spent most of Christmas day in Syracuse, and it was fun to see how excited the kids were about their gifts, and we also enjoyed a tasty brunch. (can you tell I ate way too much this break? All I'm talking about is food!) Anyway, we left Syracuse after Claire had her 2 o'clock feeding, and arrived safely in Albion. We were welcomed by (surprise, surprise!) a pasta dinner with calamari, sausage and meatballs! We also opened gifts and had a nice time catching up. On Monday we went into Rochester to have dinner with our favorite people, and as usual, we were not disappointed by their company!

Time at home always seems too short, but we feel thankful that we were able to visit our families. Here are some pictures from our trip:
