I baked some cupcakes today. No special reason, really. I guess I was in the baking mood. Had to make some cutouts for an order this weekend, so I just kept right on going and whipped up some plain cupcakes.
I made some vanilla butter cream frosting, but waited awhile to determine what color the icing should be.
I waited until after a pretty neat doctors appointment.
I frosted those cupcakes with PINK icing.
I bet you can guess why I picked pink...
That's right- come October there will be a little Holmes here. More specifically, a little girl Holmes!
This is really the first I've "publicly" mentioned on my blog about being pregnant, but if you're observant like me...you may have noticed that the blog posting has been severely suffering. Being pregnant is a lame excuse to have a lame blog, but for the first 9 weeks or so, I just didn't feel like updating! I was a tad bit tired, but no excuses, right?!
Anyway, I'm feeling absolutely fantastic. The ultrasound today was more for the anatomy check than to find out the gender...it just so happened that she was in perfect position for us to see. The ultrasound looked great, and there is no reason to be worried about anything. I think we've got a healthy one, so far!
So that's it.

I am so psyched!!! I have been buying blue, trucks, tractors, etc....and I can't wait to buy little cute dresses!!! I am so excited for the two of you. Sending lots of love your way and to little baby girl holmes!!
