sod pictures

As promised (well, I think I promised, but if not, here you go anyway...) here are some pictures of Jeff's hard work preparing an area to lay sod down.

As you can see- it was in desperate need of some help!


I'd say that was the hardest part...prepping the area. Raking and tilling and pulling up roots. A while back we had pine trees removed from this area, so there were still roots and such from those trees.


And here is the finished product. The guys next door have even gotten into the fun, and they're cleaning up their area to plant some grass seed. (They're college kids, so they can't really do the sod thing- unless maybe their landlord pays for it?!)


We've been watering and nurturing the grass since it's been so hot, but it looks fantastic, and I'm so grateful for Jeff's hard work!
