Just when we thought we might be able to start digging out, and get the heck out of the house....round 2 comes along. This time, a blizzard warning. Ugh! It was pretty nasty out there today. Even though we obviously didn't get as much snow, the wind was whipping. It reminded me of New York snows- when the wind would be so bad and the drifts would be miles high. (well, not really miles, of course, but you get the idea!) It's still very windy, and I am still very grateful that we have not lost power.
Jeff shoveled off the entire deck today- hard work! We just want to be cautious, since the snow is so darn heavy. I made meatballs, and also made some little ones for a pot of Italian wedding soup, which we had for dinner. Today was the first day of our "vacation" that I took a nap. It was pretty nice! I'm working on finishing a book, and we also played a game of Scrabble. Jeff and Kristi ended up tying. Me, I came in last, but I'm ok with that! Scrabble has never really been my thing! Syracuse basketball is on tonight, so that makes Jeff happy. Other than that, I have nothing exciting to report!
Even Bella didn't want to go out in that wind!
