It's COLD!

Today we had snow day number three!  It's super cold here.  I don't really like it, to be honest with you!  We got some light snow on Tuesday morning, maybe 3 or 4 inches, and it has just caused havoc around here!  It has been so darn cold, along with poor snow removal equipment and technique, so the roads are ice and we were home another day!

I am glad we were home yesterday, however, because poor Anna was diagnosed with the flu.  I have been praying and praying that we all stay healthy this year, since the germs seem to be extra bad this year, but sadly, she picked a little something up from somewhere.  She will bounce back fast, I'm sure, but she was quite pitiful last night.

Aunt Kristi wins and award for taking the girls outside to play for a little while on Tuesday.  It usually takes longer to get dressed and ready to go outside than they're actually out there!  It wasn't good packing snow, so they basically ran around and Claire made some snow angels.

I'm glad that I've had time to do laundry, clean out some closets and drawers, and cook good meals.  I'm on day 4 of my second round of Whole 30.  I usually like to bake cookies, and eat (lots) of cookies on snow days, but I refrained.  I had one cookie order that needed to be done, so Jeff and Claire were my official taste testers!

 Claire also had a hair cut on Wednesday.  Just a little trim to clean things up a bit.  She was worried it was going to hurt, but then she figured out for herself that she won't feel a thing!

And thank goodness for Aunt Kristi who Anna seemed to only want yesterday!
