Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone!  Merry Christmas to you!  I hope you had a great day.  We had a wonderful, low-key day at home.  It was so nice to just enjoy the kids, play, eat (way too much!) and we even got to play outside!

Last night we went to Christmas Eve service with the girls, and they did pretty good.  We went through quite a few snacks, but they were quiet!  Since the church didn't offer their children's services like normal, they passed out "goodie bags" to the kids to keep them occupied.  It was a great idea!  Once we came home the girls put some reindeer oats outside and got some milk and cookies for Santa.  Claire wanted Anna to help and as soon as she handed Anna a cookie to put on the plate, Anna ate it!  Of course!

Claire has many questions about Santa.  She couldn't quite understand why he wasn't still at our house when she woke up.  She also asked if he sat on our couch.  She still doesn't quite get it all, but it was still a very fun morning.  Anna was more interested in eating than opening gifts, or playing, but once she figured out she could do both, she was good to go!

I hope you had a blessed day, and the remaining days of 2014 are good to you!
