MDW

We traveled up to Syracuse for Memorial Day Weekend.  We left Saturday morning after getting ourselves organized, and breakfast was cooked and eaten!  I was also  super prepared and packed a good lunch for us to eat when we stopped to feed the girls.  Speaking of the girls, they were SO well behaved in the car.  Traveling as an adult can often times be kind of blah, but doing it with little ones adds a whole new level to the game.  They were great!

It was nice to see so many friends and family while we were visiting!  Kim hosted a little get together on Sunday so we could all spend some time together.  Claire had an absolute blast playing with all the kids.  And trust me, she slept well on the drive home and the next few nights!

The girls again, did awesome on the way home.  We actually drove within about an hour and a half from home before we stopped to eat lunch because the girls were sleeping.  It worked out great.  I was able to get us organized, get some fresh fruit and veggies, prepare some meals for the week, and was still in bed before 9:30!  That's my kind of day!
