blessed.

I was so blessed to be able to celebrate my birthday with my parents (a few days early), while they were in for a visit.  We had lots of fun, and enjoyed a great dinner out at a new local place that specializes in using only local ingredients.  The meal was yummy, but the company was better!  I promise the guys were with us...we just didn't get any pictures of them!  Thanks, Mom & Dad for the great dinner, and great time!  We love you!

Tuesday was the actual day I bid farewell to my 20's, which honestly is totally fine with me.  I had a pretty good day at school, although I had a meeting that didn't end until much later than I would have liked!  I didn't really care what we had for dinner, as long as I didn't have to cook!  It was a beautiful day, so Kristi grilled out, and Katie joined us.  Unfortunately, Jeff had wrestling practice, and Jake had class, so they missed out.  Jeff was able to come home early, which was nice.  Everyone gave me such nice gifts!  I got a great cupcake plate, and a gift certificate for newborn photos once this little lady arrives, which I'm so excited about!  I was planning to have pictures done, but never expected Kristi, Kadi and my mom to set it all up for me.  I can't wait to see what Jillian can do!  Jeff got me a dutch oven that I've been wanting, and also the "Winchester Bracelet".  I just love the bracelet, and he even had the apple blossom charm added, which is just perfect!  I am so blessed, and really felt it on the day I reached the big 3-0!
