Finally...what I call a real snow day. Where it snowed, like really snowed, and I understood why we weren't in school! It really was beautiful with the snow on the trees- until our power went out, then I didn't think it was so beautiful! But, no worries, it came back on shortly after, and we had a nice day at home!
These pictures are from about 7:30 this morning. It snowed most of the day, but it also got warmer outside, so a lot of the snow melted. I think we probably ended up with about a foot at our house, but there were reports of 17-20 inches in Frederick County. Next week they're saying temperatures will be in the 60's! Bring it on! I'm ready for spring!
