HOT!

I'm normally not one to complain about the heat.  I usually savor it, and wish it would never go away!  But yesterday, I seriously thought I was going to melt right into my seat at the baseball game!  Phew...it was HOT!  Jeff and I went to the city for a day game, since the Mets were in town.  It was kind of an anniversary gift for him, and although I didn't get great seats, we still enjoyed ourselves!  I actually paid $25 per ticket, which included 2 drinks of your choice (soda, water or beer)  I figured that was pretty good, since a beer alone is $8!  I brought some water from home, and was perfectly content filling it up at the water fountain, so Jeff used the tickets for beer!  It was fun to see the Mets win, and my "boy friend" David Wright (Just kidding, Jeff!) hit 2 home runs!  Other than sweating non-stop for several hours, I was glad we went.  It really is a great stadium, and I know I speak for Jeff when I say we are excited to take Claire there for a game in the future!

Even Claire was sporting her Mets gear even though she stayed home with Aunt Kristi for the day!
