Officially!

It's officially summertime! Yes!! Busy day today...a few graduation parties, and a "kick off to summer"/housewarming party. Should be a good day. A few other things that have gone on this week are my decision to not coach basketball next year. I decided my heart just wasn't in it, so instead of risking being miserable, I decided to give it up for a while. The other disappointing news is that the buyers of our house decided to back out. Apparently because we won't replace the whole deck! (ha...yeah right! They have got to be kidding me!) Oh well, I guess that means it just wasn't supposed to work out right now, so I have no choice but to be at peace with it. Anyway, on a more positive note, here are the cookies I've been working on. This order was for a co-worker. Her daughter is graduating from James Wood High, and heading to Tech. It was my first time making any of those style cookies, and they turned out ok, still need some practice, but it's getting better!


 I made these with left over dough to give to our secretaries, guidance counselors, and administrators to wish them a "berry" nice summer! (I know, I'm a dork!)

 
 I have a pretty large order for confirmation cookies, and also need to practice making some elmo and cookie monster cookies for Viv's little party this summer. It's supposed to be a beautiful (and hot!) weekend, so I hope you enjoy it!
