Claire is almost 10 weeks old. (wow!) She went to the doctor today for her 2 month check up, and shots. First of all, I'd like to say I LOVE her doctor. He is so wonderful. He is kind and caring and he even speaks plain old everyday language so I can get what he's saying. He's not all wrapped up in using big fancy words or medical jargon, and I appreciate it! Ok, enough about that...Claire did great. She was a good girl, and is growing well and is very healthy.

She checked in at 11 pounds 13 ounces and 22 3/4 inches long. He said she is growing beautifully and is not concerned about anything. He is pleased she's sleeping through the night, and thinks we've all adjusted quite well.

Of course the shots are the last thing they do, and although she was pretty mad after the second prick in her poor little leg, so got over it pretty quickly and fell asleep before I was done checking out! She was a little off tonight, and was rather warm, but he said that is totally normal, so I wasn't worried. I'm just hoping she sleeps through the night!

Next check up in March.
