The Good: The weather has been beautiful here. (hot, but that's ok with me!) And...the weather is supposed to be beautiful at the beach too!
The Bad: Bella got stung by 3 wasps yesterday. (poor thing) I watched the whole thing happen, and I wish I could have stopped it, but instead I tried to take good care of her for the rest of the day. Her jowl swelled up pretty good, and so did her foot, but after some Benadryl and some ice cubes, she's as good as new today!
The Ugly (and gross): I know this really isn't supposed to be included, but I had to clean our outdoor trash can because it was infested, and I mean infested, with maggots. ICK. Double ICK. It was gross! I think it was a combination of things, including the very hot weather, Bella's poop (sorry to be gross, but it's true), and probably some of the food scraps that we disposed of. Anyway, I'm glad that job is over!
The Bad: My running. I am such a head case! I am getting frustrated, even though I know I should be enjoying it. I feel so good sometimes, and then other times I think I might never want to run again! I really do know that this happens to most people that run, but it's starting to annoy me! When will I be able to go for a run and feel great the whole time? (Probably about a week after the NYC Marathon, right?!) I have so far to go with my milage, and I'm excited about it, just scared at the same time that it's going to be horrible.
The Good: Kristi has been running with me quite a bit, which is nice to have someone to talk to! Did I tell you she's running the Virginia Beach Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon?
The Good: Having a swimming pool!
The Good: My mom is coming here on Friday!
The Bad: Kristi is having her tonsils removed on July 1st. So that's partly why Mom is coming down.
The Good: Not having to go to work everyday! I love being a teacher! :)
The Bad: We are trying to order a glass shower door, and the Lowes employees are not very sure of what they are doing. I refuse to pay such a large amount of money for something to not be right. My favorite answer from them: "I think this is right..." YOU THINK?
Not Sure: I'm back on Facebook for the summer. Time to catch up, I guess.
Alright...time to take the Biscotti out of the oven. I hope you're having a great week!
